The hotel ensures an endless array of fun and exciting activities scheduled throughout the day and led by our Star Friends entertainment team. This is something our guests point out and one of the best memories that they take home with them after their vacation. Fun activities such as bingo and board games, sports including games in the activity pool, and also the professional shows put on each night to make sure both kids and adults have a blast: magic, juggling, music and dance for all audiences.

Star Camp

The Star Camp children’s activity program is divided into age groups where children can learn to cook at the mini-chef kitchen, play video games, discover the importance of caring for the environment in Starky’s garden with puppet and recycling workshops, bounce on the trampolines and much more. Children under 4 years old can visit the new Kangaroo area, where they can play while supervised by an adult.

As part of the Wave of Change sustainability program, the outdoor play area has been created with more than 7.17 tons of recycled plastic, equivalent to about 32,500 1.3-gallon jugs, which saves about 65 trees worth of wood.

Our youngest guests also get to enjoy a children’s pool just for them, a children’s menu at hotel restaurants, and a merry-go-round. And if adults want some time to themselves, they can request babysitting services and enjoy an intimate meal.

Gardens and pools

The 3 hotel pools are completely surrounded by nature. This native vegetation is the natural habitat of animals such as coatis, tortoises, peacocks, swans, squirrels, flamingos, and many other species. There is also a natural cenote! In this cenote, you can see mangroves, lotus flowers and turtles.

As for the pools, the largest measures 860 feet in length and has been designed for the whole family to enjoy. There is enough space in these pools for those who like to relax under the artificial waterfall (one of the guests’ favorite areas of the pool) and for those who prefer to stay in shape and enjoy the activities organized by the entertainment team.

Start the day in the hydrotherapy circuit and soothe your muscles in the multi-jet whirlpool tub, the steam room, Roman bath, sauna, or multi-sensory shower. Our experts will be happy to help you select from over 20 different massage options. You’ll have access to a fitness center(must be at least 16 years of age) furnished with the latest exercise equipment and machines. You’ll also have a cycling studio offering daily classes, and two multi-sport rooms where you have the chance to try yoga, Zumba, kickboxing, body pump, boot camp, and more. All activities are led by certified instructors.

You can also do water sports by the beach, some of which are free of charge for the first hour, such as kayaking, sailing on a catamaran, snorkeling or windsurfing.

Golf course

Golfers will enjoy Iberostar Playa Paraíso Golf, the professional 18-hole course located within the hotel complex. Designed by Pete Dye, it fields four sets of tees to accommodate pros and beginners alike. It’s also home to a golf club with shops and restaurants, as well as packages and preferential rates for Iberostar guests.
