SPA Sensations
At SPA Sensations, you can choose between the hydrotherapy area and a relaxing treatment. Start off with a dip in the Roman bath, then on to the sauna or the Turkish bath, and finish off your circuit in the Vichy shower or multi-jet shower. Outside, you can rest in the infinity pool on the oceanfront with the whirlpool bath.
You can also book one of the 14 massage rooms to spoil yourself with one of 20 treatments: a holistic or relaxing treatment, alone or with your partner, or enjoy a massage on the beach. Our team of professionals can help you determine which treatments are best for you. Finish off your experience at the Health Bar, where you can choose from different types of teas and juices.
Sea turtle observation station
Praia do Forte has a turtle-watching area that’s home to five of the planet’s main turtle species, all of which are endangered. The complex includes a sea turtle monitoring station and museum where visitors can learn about how this animal is being taken care of and protected. An activity that both children and adults will enjoy.
Golf
The Praia do Forte Iberostar Golf Club, designed by P.B. Dye, boasts an oceanside setting among sand dunes and natural lagoons. The professional 9-hole, par-36 course features wide fairways, large greens, undulating terrain, and deep bunkers spread over 245 acres of sand dune formations. It is also equipped with a practice area, putting green, clubhouse, restaurant and bar, and Pro Shop.
Star Camp
At the Star Camp kid’s activity program, children will work in teams, play their part in saving the environment, participate in arts and crafts, play board games, perform shows, and more. Children are put in groups based on their age and work on skills and values adapted to their abilities and interests: Monkeys is the group designed for kids ages 4 to 6, Dolphins for kids ages 7 to 12, and Eagles for teens ages 13 to 15. In addition, the hotel offers kid’s meals, as well as two baby food kitchens, and babysitting services are available for hire.
Fit & Fun Sports Facilities
You’ll have access to a two-story fitness center (for those over 16 years old) that offers state-of-the-art exercise equipment and machines. It has a Spinning room with daily classes and two multisport rooms where you can do a Zen circuit, with yoga or Pilates, TRX Kettle, boot camp, Fit&Fight, Mixed Dancing, Energy Flow, Functional Training, Cardio ABS, GAP (Glutes, Abs and Legs), and much more. All activities are led by certified instructors. If you prefer team sports, you can practice on the beach volleyball court. If tennis is your thing, beginners to advanced players can take group classes.
Entertainment
The hotel ensures an endless array of fun and exciting activities scheduled throughout the day and led by our Star Friends entertainment team. This is something our guests point out, and which are among the best memories that they take home with them after their vacation. Fun activities, such as bingo and board games, sports including games in the activity pool, and also the professional shows put on each night to make sure both kids and parents have a blast: magic, juggling, music and dance for all audiences.
