    "great vacation"

    About the 10nth time I have been at this resort. The food is good. Nice upgrades going on to the room, not so dark. Beds are comfortable. Drinks are good love the Dos Eques Amber. The reason we keep coming back though is the friendly staff. Love Luis in the restaurant. He always remembers us and takes time to talk with us. Same for David & Adrian at the pool bar and David and Orlando of the Star friends. All staff is great but these are exceptional and friendly.

    All your staff from cleaners to entertainers are always polite and very friendly! My husband and I have been to this Resort 3 times and 2 times to the Iberostar over on land— we like Cozumel better—- we have made lots of good friendships at this Resort❤️

    "Overall excellent -but wear earplugs at the Chinese Pagaoda restaurant"

    the Chinese restaurant experience was very poor for us . 1: the room acoustics in the Pagoda were TERRIBLE; the room needs floor coverings and wall coverings (or even a lower ceiling ) to dampen the noise. The noise from other guest in the room was so overwhelming that I had leave before finishing my meal! 2: "mains " were very large portions . Staff could have warned of the size or the menu could offer "half" portions. I was served 2 skewers of 3 meatballs - 1 would have been enough

    "We wanted nothing but to report it and were treated as if we were filing a false complaint."

    I have one complaint, but it was from our stay with you last September. I didn't know how to send it to you. We had 2 pairs of running shoes stolen from our patio. We did not expect to get anything from the hotel, but we wanted to report it to the front desk. I reported it twice to the people at the front desk and both times they would not even talk about it and implied I lost them. I then spoke to a manager and they also implied the same thing. I filed a report.

    "Excellent. Will go again"

    This was our 4th visit to this hotel and it was every bit as good as before . The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The place is always very clean and tidy. We like the more intimate setting of this smaller hotel and close proximity to the beach. Resort wide WiFi is a very good addition - appreciated !

    "Overall a good experience. Planning on a trip Jan 2018 with our adult kids"

    Staff was overall superb. Rita cleaned our room and she was very good. Enjoyed the various towel animals left. Service on beach/bars were great. Ana and Ximena in particular were very good to deal with. Dive instr Jose was phenomenal - aren't Iberostar but... Food overall was good. Chef Rodrigo was very personable/friendly. David helped us move/with suit cases a number of times. Very friendly, professional and efficient.

    Needed to do a better job of getting the outdoor music around the pool area to play to keep people entertained and also the pool closing hours need to be moved up later, no more pool time after 7pm was ridiculous.

    Last but not least, we would like to mention that our pools have a specific internal program to control of water quality in the pools and ideal chemical parameters have been effectively maintained in order to assure the safety and health of our swimming pool users for this reason the schedule is 7am until 7pm to have the correct treatment with chemicals.
