Miguel Fluxá receives the Distintivo Turístico Matilde Torres award
The recognition was granted by the Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies (CEAV).
Our President, Don Miguel Fluxá, has received the Distintivo Turístico Matilde Torres awarded by the Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies (CEAV). The organisation has recognised Don Miguel with this award for his extensive and successful professional work and his wide experience in the tourism sector. The confederation will present the award during the gala dinner of the 6th World Summit of Travel Agencies Associations, which will take place from 3 to 5 November in León.
This is the ninth year that CEAV has awarded this prize, which was created in honour of Matilde Torres with the aim of recognising her contribution to the sector. Torres had multiple facets, a product of her curiosity and tireless vitality. In addition to being a founding partner and managing director of Catai Tours, she played a very active role in the world of travel agency associations. She was vice-president of CEAV and a founding member of the Spanish Geographical Society.
