- Drach caves: The coast of Cala Millor, Costa de los Pinos, Porto Cristo, Sant Llorenç, Son Servera and Artà hosts numerous caves and archaeological sites not to be missed. Some of them are the caves of Drach, some 10km away from Cala Millor, Cova d’Es Rafal de Baix and Cova de Sa Font Gata.
- Sa Fonteta: It is an old stream running by a nice oak grove in Puig de sa Font. This brook supplied water to Son Servera for many years. Today it can be visited but is no longer used as a source of water.
- Basilica of Son Peretó: This basilica is one of the primary historical attractions in the southeast coast of Majorca. The religious building, in the municipality of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar, a few kilometres from the heart of Cala Millor, is housed in an old Majorcan property and is part of one of the most important Paleo-Christian sites on the island.
- New Church: Called S'Església Nova in the Catalan language, this church was built in 1905 and renovated since then. At present, it is a landmark of Son Servera and a fine example of religious art in this town. Inside, Sa Capella Fonda is worth taking a look at.
- Ca s’Hereu: Another must-visit in Son Servera, the houses or possessions of Ca s’Hereu are traditional country properties. In other Spanish regions, similar structures are called ‘masías’ or ‘cortijos’.

- 5 January –Three Wise Men Parade: Children share their dreams and wishes at this fantastic parade held every year in Sant Llorenç, Son Carrió and Sa Coma. The Three Kings of Orient go along the main streets in these villages, giving out gifts to the little ones.
- 16 and 17 January – Feast of Sant Antoni: The festivals honouring Saint Anthony held in Cala Millor and Sant Llorenç are real fun. Although they take place in winter, locals dine out, cooking on barbecue grills outdoors and lighting bonfires for dimonis to run and dance around.
- February and March – Carnival: Carnival changes dates every year, but in this area in the east of Majorca it never fails to be a vibrant festival. One of the typical events is the burial of the sardine in Son Carrió, which puts an end to many days of revelry and marks the beginning of Lent. There is a parade, the burning of the sardine and a cookout of sardines out of doors.
- March and April – Easter in Cala Millor: Large groups of visitors come to Cala Millor and the sun gets warmer in Easter. There are processions in this and other towns as well, plus traditional religious services.
- April – Pancaritat Festival: Pancaritat is one of the most traditional popular festivals on the calendar of Majorca. In Sant Llorenç it consists of a walk from the church to the estate of Son Vives, around 3km from the centre of town, where a meal is prepared and eaten in the open air. The menu includes traditional treats: panadas, cocarrois and robiols.
- May – Son Carrió Patron Saint’s Day: Music, dance and locally made products come together at this traditional festival that includes a country farm fair, painting competitions, cookouts, concerts and art exhibitions.
- August – Sant Llorenç Patron Saint’s Day: This festival is well known for its evening race, which draws thousands of participants. There are concerts, folk dance performances, a horse show and a night fair in the former railway station. Children’s entertainment, competitions, typical food and lively parties complete the festival.
- September – Tourist Day in Cala Millor: Tourist Day is a very special event in Cala Millor, as it is dedicated to all the visitors who come from different European countries. There is entertainment for children, sporting competitions, dance, concerts, fireworks, cookouts, arts and crafts markets, etc. A plan you cannot miss if you come to Cala Millor on holiday in the late summer.
