Fernando Pérez Arellano brought his unique sense of creativity and authentic Spanish spirit to the Iberostar initiative.
Iberostar hotels in the Dominican Republic, Cuba and Mexico will host three exclusive dinners prepared by the Madrid-born chef. Diners attending the events will be able to taste a host of gastronomic delights such as ‘El huevo negro’ and ‘All i Pebre’.
Iberostar Hotels & Resorts presents another edition of its Iberostarchef on Tour initiative for May, this time with the widely-acclaimed Madrid-born chef Fernando Pérez Arellano. Pérez Arellano’s menu concept includes flavors ‘made in Spain’ with an avant-garde twist and impeccable presentations that are guaranteed to delight even the most demanding guests.
The grand selection of dishes featured on the evening menu will leave everyone satisfied. Guests will have the chance to enjoy the Spanish chef’s hallmark dish - ‘El huevo negro’ – or ‘black egg’ – the perfect combination of cuttlefish caviar and white onion. And to entice the diners’ taste buds even further, Pérez Arellano has created a mix of Spanish tradition and contemporary touches with his ‘All i Pebre,’ which includes octopus, potato, garlic, and paprika. The chef’s culinary repertoire naturally includes marinated mussels and scallops as well as his ‘Arrós de Matança’ with pork crackling, pig’s trotters and vegetables fresh from the kitchen garden.
Pérez Arellano’s career has taken him to a number of countries, providing him with a solid culinary background influenced by various types of cuisine from around the world. As one of Spain’s best-known chefs, Pérez Arellano has joined the Iberostarchef on Tour initiative and will be touring a number of hotels in the Caribbean and Mexico in May in order to showcase his finest dishes.
The chef’s debut will begin on Friday, May 8 with a dinner at the Iberostar Grand Bávaro, which offers authentic beachfront luxury and lavish services expected from The Grand Collection, Iberostar’s premier hotels. His second dinner will be set at the Iberostar Parque Central, an exclusive, modern hotel with unbeatable views in the heart of Havana, on Tuesday, May 12. And lastly, on Saturday, May 16, the Iberostar Grand Paraíso will host the chef’s third and final dinner for the Iberostarchef on Tour. This elegant five star complex provides luxury all inclusive accommodation for adults only.
