Iberostar Hotels & Resorts recently announced the appointment of Laura Molano as Chief Marketing Officer of GRUPO Iberostar. As the global head of marketing, Molano will lead the marketing strategy for all divisions with a focus on customers, while spearheading marketing plans and budgets for 100 hotels across 16 destinations. With over 10 years of experience in the fashion, and tourism industry, Molano was formerly the Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer of IBEROSTATE, the real estate division of GRUPO Iberostar.
Among her goals in this new role is to further the position of GRUPO Iberostar and its various divisions as a leader in the tourism industry. To achieve this, Molano will manage the global marketing structure of GRUPO Iberostar, which operates regional offices in the Caribbean, USA, Europe, Canada, Northern Africa and southern South America.

As a graduate of Autonomous University of Barcelona, Molano has a degree in Communications and a Master’s in Business and Institutional Communications as well as a Master’s in Marketing Management from the School of Senior Management and Administration of Barcelona along with a Master’s in Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Barcelona.
Laura Molano steps in to replace Luis Herault, who previously held the position for 5 years.
Currently made up by three divisions, GRUPO Iberostar owns and operates a hotel division, a travel service division, and a real estate division including the following: Iberostar Hotels & Resorts, IBEROSERVICE Incoming Services (receptive division), and IBEROSTATE Golf, Villas & Condos (real estate division).
