ANTONIO BANDERAS, THE FACE OF Iberostar WORLDWIDE, OFFICIALLY OPENS Iberostar Selection Marbella Coral Beach HOTEL
The world renowned actor from Malaga displayed his support by attending the reopening of Iberostar Selection Marbella Coral Beach, the leading hotel which is also very important to the commitment of the Majorcan chain in Andalusia.
Iberostar Hotels & Resorts incorporated this hotel into its portfolio at the beginning of September 2010, reopening it this season after a complete renovation and modernisation of all its facilities.
Iberostar Selection Marbella Coral Beach Hotel opened on 14th April, with a very special host, Antonio Banderas. The world renowned actor from Malaga, who has been the face of this hotel chain since 2010, did not want to miss out on the chance to be part of the expansion of Iberostar Hotels & Resorts on the Costa del Sol.
As well as Antonio, the Mayoress of Marbella, Maria Ángeles Muñoz, and other representatives of the Marbella City Council were present on the night including Executive Vice-President of the Iberostar Group, Sabina Fluxá Thieneman and Managing Director of Marketing of Iberostar Hotels & Resorts, Luis Herault, who highlighted the strategic importance of this destination for the group: "The Iberostar Selection Marbella Coral Beach Hotel is our flagship hotel on the Costa del Sol, a top destination on a national and international level. With hotels like this one, we enrich our portfolio and we perfectly respond to the chain's vocation to offer high-category services and facilities to its clients on the most appealing coasts."
Antonio Banderas expressed his satisfaction: "About a year ago, I began collaborating with Iberostar, a Spanish company with which I have a lot of things in common, such as its philosophy about its international profile. But today it is time to celebrate the presence of Iberostar in Marbella, in Malaga, my home. This shows their firm commitment to this land, which makes me proud to be a Malaga native."
A beachfront hotel, just one kilometre from Puerto Banús, this hotel is situated in the heart of the Costa del Sol, in one of the most exclusive residential areas of Marbella.
