Lentils (75g raw or 200 g cooked), ¼ small onion , 50g raw pumpkin , Salt, Curry, Cumin, Parsley, Garlic powder

For the sauce

5 tomatoes, 2 chili peppers peppers -adjust to taste-, 1 white onion finely chopped , 1 bunch of cilantro, 1 juice of 1 lemons, 500 ml cup of water , Salt  




Step 1. Let the lentils soak for several hours.

Step 2. Pour them into a pot and cook them in boiling water.

Step 3. Drain them using a strainer.

Step 4. Dice the pumpkin into small pieces.

Step 5. Put the pumpkin and the onions in a pot with a splash of oil.

Step 6. Add the spices: salt, curry, cumin, garlic and parsley.

Step 7. Combine the lentils with the rest of the ingredients.

Step 8. With a wooden spoon, crush the ingredients to create the dough.

Step 9. Remove the dough and let it cool in the fridge for 4 hours.

Step 10. Shape the dough into balls with your hands.

Step 11. Bake the meatballs at a temperature of 180°C for 20 minutes.


Step 1. Cut the chili peppers, onions and tomatoes and pour them into a glass.

Step 2. Add a pinch of salt, cilantro, lemon juice and water.

Step 3. Blend the ingredients and pour the sauce over the meatballs.
