Main beaches in Portals Nous:

Cala Bendinat: Bendinat is a small cove surrounded by rocks, low-elevation pine forests and Mediterranean scrub. L’Oratori beach: One of the most popular beaches in Portals Nous, known by locals simply as ‘Portals Nous beach’, it features fine white and golden sand over a rocky bed. L’Oratori is just opposite the islet of Sales. Often, yachts and sailboats are anchored in the area, for the beach stands next to the marina; the general atmosphere is quiet, though. L’Oratori is easily accessible and the water is calm, perfect for a dip.
Blanes beach: Right next to the Marineland dolphinarium, this beach spans the shoreline by the sports club tennis courts, in the area of the Puerto Portals marina. Being only 50m long and 15m wide, it features two distinct sections; the one on the left is quieter, with coarser sand.
Cala Oli: A 20m cove with sand inviting you to lie down and soak up the peace of the area, Oli is only accessible by sea (barge or kayak) or through the cliffs overlooking it. Mediterranean beauty, far from the madding crowds of tourists. One of the first beaches you will encounter in Portals Nous when coming from Palma (near Illetas).
Es Carregador beach: This is a beach for adventurers, for it can only be accessed through some cliffs with no stairs (just a couple of ropes). To make up for the difficult access, it offers the most peaceful setting and clean, transparent water at any time of day. Moderate to non-existent swell. Only local beachgoers.
Ses Penyes Roges beach: Sand and gravel beach west of Portals Nous, past Cap d’es Gegant and close to Sa Bassa Rotja. Full range of services available: showers, restaurants, surveillance tower, parking, etc. Spectacular views of majestic cliffs from the sea. Calm, warm water, as in the rest of Calvià.
