REOPENING OF THE UPGRADED 5 STAR Iberostar Selection Andalucía Playa

Following a complete renovation process and an investment of more than 6 million euros, the Iberostar Selection Andalucía Playa is set to reopen on 29th April with its new 5 star status.
The rooms, swimming pools and restaurants have all been redesigned, and the range of services improved and extended to meet the standards of the Balearic Island-based chain’s Premium Gold product.

Iberostar Hotels & Resorts is currently fully immersed in the renovation of its hotel portfolio in order to continue offering outstanding products and services. One of the major renovation projects for 2016 is the transformation of the   Iberostar Selection Andalucía Playa, which has been upgraded from 4 to 5 star status. Tomorrow (29th April), the hotel will be reopening, ready to face the demands of a busy summer season.  

This initiative reflects Iberostar’s confidence in Andalusia as a first class holiday destination offering outstanding potential for growth in tourist numbers, thanks to products such as this hotel. Indeed, the company has contributed a new 5 star hotel to the area, whilst at the same time improving its portfolio with even better facilities and services.   

The Iberostar Selection Andalucía Playa boasts a prime seafront location overlooking the stunning La Barrosa Beach in Chiclana de la Frontera. Now the renovation work is complete, guests can enjoy 274 fully refurbished rooms. New rooms have also been added with shared pools for semi-private use and the suites have been extended and improved. Alteration work has also been carried out on the communal areas and two new pools have been built. The sun terrace has also undergone a complete makeover, and now features Bali beds. All these changes will undoubtedly enhance the experience of guests in search of rest and relaxation.  

As part of the chain’s commitment to positioning gastronomy as one of the chain’s key values, the work also included the redesign of the Lobby Bar and the creation of a new speciality restaurant. This new culinary space stands out for its fabulous kitchen, which is actually larger than the dining room and also includes an outdoor grill situated in the courtyard area.

The Iberostar Selection Andalucía Playa also offers an All Inclusive service, enabling guests to put all their cares aside as soon as they enter the hotel. The beauty salon and the pillow menu round off the range of services designed to pamper guests and guarantee a totally relaxing stay.   

Foodies will be in their element in the two á la carte speciality restaurants, as well as in the buffet restaurant and Beach Club. In addition, sports lovers will have the chance to try out the prestigious 36 hole Iberostar Novo Sancti Petri Golf Club designed by no other than Seve Ballesteros or the Iberostar Tennis & Padel Center as well as a host of other sports options such as scuba diving, horse riding and fitness.
