Iberostar COSTA DEL SOL, A NEW Iberostar HOTEL IN ANDALUSIA
On 18 March the Majorcan chain will open its new hotel Iberostar Costa del Sol to the public. The 4* hotel, located on the beachfront in Estepona, will be Iberostar’s sixth hotel in Andalusia.
To complete this hotel’s renovation, Iberostar has made an investment of 2 million euros, enabling the chain to guarantee the highest levels of quality in one of its leading Mediterranean destinations.
To guarantee an unforgettable stay the hotel has a total of 265 rooms, most with sea views, as well as an 800 m2 Spa & Wellness centre and a comprehensive entertainment and gastronomy offer.
Iberostar Hotels & Resorts continues to grow and commit to some of the best-known tourist destinations internationally. On 18 March the company will open the doors to the Iberostar Costa del Sol, located between the towns of Estepona and Marbella, just 10 minutes from Puerto Banús.
The 4* category Iberostar Costa del Sol is located on the beachfront of Playa del Sol Villacana. It has a total of 265 rooms and the best services to offer a complete family holiday experience.
An ambitious renovation of the current building has been undertaken to ensure the hotel’s product and services meet the chain’s quality standards. As part of this upgrading, that has an investment of 2 million euros, Iberostar has modernised the furnishings, created a new swimming pool for children, refurbished the sharing pool for the private suites and constructed new individual solarium terraces in different rooms.
As part of Iberostar’s philosophy, this new hotel pays special attention to aspects such as gastronomy, comfort and entertainment. Besides the four existing bars, the renovation also involved expanding the buffet with show cooking, creating the new Sea Soul Restaurant and launching an exclusive Beach Club with an à la carte restaurant and a new beach terrace.
The wellness and entertainment offer will also be one of the attractions of Iberostar Costa del Sol, offering an 800 m2 Spa & Wellness centre with a thermal circuit and a wide range of treatments. Furthermore, the hotel will have a comprehensive programme of sports and entertainment activities such as organised excursions, water sports and over 20 golf courses less than 20 minutes away.

The new establishment is part of the chain’s family-friendly product and has a wide range of services available for younger children as children’s swimming-pool, Star Camp and play area.
