"We had a fantastic stay! The three things that stand out in our mind are the great service, luxurious pool and grounds, and access to the beach. We have also stayed at another highly rated resort in Punta Cana and it does not compare to this place. We would definitely like to come back"

"Excellant service all around first floor room was musty smelling-the fix was to bring in an oil burning scent to cover oder main bar in lobby would make a great place to meet friends and talk but most often the entertainment was so loud we could not hear ourselves most people I saw at this resort were 50 and up who I would say no not like LOUD music, piano bar would be perfect The food was beautifully presented and very abundent If I had to guess the hotel wastes a great deal of food because much of it did not deliver on flavor. I could take whatever looked good and if it was not tasty it got tossed.I would eventually find plenty to get full. The Japanese restaurant for example must have a Spanish chef with Dominicans doing their best to pull it off , didn't work for me.Dominicans have no idea what Japanese food is supposed to taste like. Similar experiences with other theme restaurants. Surf and turf was the best,American steaks,seafood and potatoes,rice and vegtables.Hard to go wrong. I have 40 years in the restaurant business with a certified chef certificate so I am probably more critical than most.On a scale of 1-10 I would give the food a 7,which is probably better than most all inclusive resorts.If I had to guess,Miguel would like to see his rating on food 8.5-9.0 and with lower food costs.There are consultants that could be hired to accomplish this. After talking with the food and bev manager,I understand that the hotel is enjoying 87% average occupancy throughout the year.These kind of numbers are fantastic.Comes down to how passionate one is to be the "best" vs. if we're making money leave it alone. "
