Aside from the lack of appreciation for our loyalty, the vacation was wonderful - as expected.
"We began using the Iberostar chain for our honeymoon, 10 years ago. We return to the Iberostar restort (Lindo has become our favorite thus far) every anniversary since, with the exception of the two years we had children. We absolutely love the staff, variety of activites, food choices and everything else you could imagine about a resorts. We have brought friends with us on several occasions and have recommended to others as well. My only dispointment is the fact that our loyalty has not been appreciated. Even with comments and requests sent, absolutely nothing extra was included or done to either thank us for the 10 years of loyalty, recommendations, or to make our 10th anniversary just a little more special. Others we spoke with did in fact receive chocolates on pillows, chapagne etc. when it was their anniversary. We feel very underappreciated."Rating: 10,0
"It was excellent except there were not enough staff to fully man the restaurants. This is the first time since I have been coming to Iberostar (2001) that there has been a problem. Additionally, if you advertise as all-inclusive, and 3 out of 5 restaurants are closed that is not what was paid for. The service and entertainment staff were almost universally excellent and friendly, and Iberostar should be proud of them. Jose and Rudolfo at the Lindo and Maya lobby bars were exceptional.Supervisors and managers should be required to wear name tags, just like the rest of the staff (as some of your management staff were more than a little rude)."Rating: 9,0
My stay at the Iberostar was excellent!
"I thought that our Iberostar holiday in the Mayan riviera was excellent even though the weather was somewhat very disappointing. I really appreciated the fact that there was a big umbrella in every hotel room. It certainly came in handy. Also, i thought that all of the staff were exceptionally warm and friendly even though the hurricane would certrainly put an extra stress on their own personal lives and workloads as well. The alacarte restaurants were excellent. I really enjoyed the extra detail, care and service at the alacarte restaurants as well. The Japonese restaurant was perhaps my favourite although the Brazilain and Steakhouse were probably tied for second place.My hyusaband really like the Lazy River and that is why we went to the Playa Lindo instead of the other Iberostar hotels."Rating: 10,0
We will be back for our 9th time to the Pariso complex!!
"This was the 8th time we visited the Pariso complex and had a wonerful vacation. With all the water which had fallen from the tropical storm the buildings and grounds were in very good order.My wife and I appreciated the professional attention we recieved by all staff members throughout the entire Pariso complex. Also the the workers at Dressel Drivers offered excellent services we were able to take part in.Please continue to maintain your high levels to attention of detail for this complex.James and Deborah Fletcher"Rating: 10,0
