    It was a very plesant experience and I would recommend you resort to family and friends.

    "Rooms were comfortable. The cleanliness of the resort is one of the things I have to mention - every day our room was cleaned and restocked - what you expect BUT what I did not expect was how the maintenance/housekeeping staff was always cleaning everything - railings, chairs (around pools and lobby), dusting and sweeping - even stairways - the resort was immaculate. Food was fine. For the most part, the staff was always smiling and pleasant, of course, there are always exceptions. We had a couple of these. My major problem was communication. It surprised me how many of the staff did not speak or spoke very very little English. I realize I was staying in Mexico but I did expect the staff to be a little more bilingual. "

    "Enjoy our stay but there were a few things we would like to see changed. For instance, there is not enough light in the bathrooms - tough to apply makeup and shave. The courtesy bathrooms didn't have any warm/hot water and the soap dispensers were missing. When we gave the front desk my purse to save-guard after we checked out of our room. It took the clerk a good while to find it and it was just under the desk. There apparently is no safe place designated for your guests' valuables once they check out. "

    Was hoping Iberostar had a special program for repeated customers.

    "Last week was our second time in two years we have chosen Iberostar resort in cancun for our family vacation. We are glad to see that the quality and overall experience remains at the high level. We highly recommend this resort, as there are many options for any type of vacationers. "

    This resort met and exceeded our expectations. Vacationed there for 4 nights in March 2014. The was second stay at an Iberostar with the other one being the Domincana in Punta Cana. We felt both resorts were a great value for the price we paid

    "My husband and I just returned from a 4 night stay at Iberostar Paraiso Lindo in Playa del Carmen. It met and exceeded our expectations. We thought the food was the best we have experienced at an all Inclusive. We especially enjoyed dinner at the Fogon Steak House. The Japanese Steak House was also good and fun to watch. The lazy river was small but very relaxing. I would suggest having a few more floats available for the river though. I only counted 5 floats total and there was almost always several people waiting in line for someone to give up a float. Our travel agent at Cheap Caribbean had told us in advance of the shortage of floats so we did pack two small ones in our luggage and the staff in the poolside store was happy to inflate them for us. They can also be purchased in the poolside store but the small ones cost about $16 US. Carlos did a wonderful job with the pool side Salsa lessons! That was great fun! Blanca in the lobby bar was super nice to us also. Actually almost every single employee at the resort was extremely friendly and helpful. We were there during Spring Break so there were lots of families with kids, but Lindo has so many activities for kids that we did not feel that our adult time was compromised. The resort, pools and grounds are quite beautiful. Our room was spacious and we had a nice balcony over looking the wave pool. The siren that announces the turning on of the wave pool at every hour on the hour was a bit loud if you try to take a siesta in your room during the day, but the wave pool shuts down around 5:30 p.m. each day, so not a problem at all in the evening. Probably can't hear it at all from rooms that are not close to the wave pool. There were always enough lounge chairs by the pools that everyone could find one no matter what time of day. The lounge chairs at the beach seemed to fill up early in the a.m. but we always managed to arrive just as someone else was leaving, so it worked out fine. It was a great trip and I would recommend this resort. We had stayed at Iberostar Dominicana in Punta Cana in April 2013, and liked that resort, so we felt we could not go wrong in selecting another Iberostar... and that proved to be true. Of the two resorts, I liked the Paraiso Lindo the best though. We met several families who have been coming to the Lindo for several years, so that definitely speaks well for this resort."
