    Fantastic holiday in an amazing hotel.

    "Fantastic holiday at Playa de Mura Hotel in Majorca. High standard of hotel, friendly staff, great food with some cooked freshly as you watch and based in an amazing location. 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor - both kept spotlessly clean. On bus route if you wish to go into Alcudia and on the beach for relaxing. Would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday."

    Es war ein fast perfekter Urlaub, ausser dass die Maximalbelegung in diesem Hotel 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder ist. Dieses Mal sind wir mit einer anderen Familie gereist und eines unserer Kinder konnte ins Zimmer dieser Familie (offinziell, :-)). Das nächste

    "It was almost a perfect stay, the only thing which is not really good for us, that the maximum is 2 adults and 2 children. This time we travelled with an other family, which takes one of our boys in there room (officially :-) but next time this is no more possible, so we could not come back unfortenately :-( Es war ein fast perfekter Urlaub, ausser dass die Maximalbelegung in diesem Hotel 2 Erwac"

    Sehr empfehlenswert

    "Hotelanlage war super. Essen allgemein sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. An der Reception wurde bei allen Fragen Auskunft erteilt und geholfen. Die Matratzen dürften meiner Meinung nach etwas weicher sein, das ist aber Ansichtssache. Möbel sind nicht mehr im Top zustand, aber ich will ja die Ferien draussen geniessen am Strand der nur wenige Meter von der Anlage entfernt ist. Auch die Schwimmbecken im Hotelbereich waren sehr sauber und einladend. Einzig das Frühstückbuffet am frühen Morgen bei der Abreise war etwas dürftig, aber sonst war der Aufenthalt SUPER. "

    Compared to previous holidays at the nearby Hotel Esperanza, our experience was one we are unlikely to repeat

    "Unfortunately, having planned this visit for a special birthday occasion, we were very disappointed with certain aspects of our stay at Iberostar Playa du Muro. Our initial opinion of the hotel foyer was excellent, as was the attention of the reception staff. However this was not our experience of other features within the hotel. The room we were given did not meet our expectation. We had booked, through our agent, a full pool view, but we were given a side view over the lobby, away from the pool - this we were told was an upgrade! We found the corridors and stairways to the bedrooms were very dark and uninviting. There appeared to be only one lift and therefore this meant a long wait which often resulted in us having to use the stairways. The dining room lacked atmosphere and the food choice limited and uninspiring. With regard to the leisure facilities there was never an opportunity to relax in the grounds, as seating was limited to loungers, regimentally around the poolside. The Spa was a great disappointment, not a place of relaxation as one would expect, despite the hotel's advertising slogan encouraging you toe feel like a Star, we felt unable to totally relax in what seemed more like a municipal swimming bath."

We sincerely regret reading that your overall experience did not meet your expectations and took good note of your disappointment on the room we accommodated you in although were surprised by your description as none of our rooms looks over to the lobby; we lament not being informed immediately as we would have looked for an alternative accommodation for you to fully enjoy your stay among us; for future occasions please do not hesitate to contact our reception desk for anything we may do to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Please accept our sincerest apologies for failing to meet your culinary wishes during your stay; the passion for gastronomy being one of the prime pillars of our company our talented team of Executive Chefs prepares wide variety of both local and international delicacies from ingredients of prime quality and following a two weeks menu rotation so as to cater for all diet requirements and please all palates, we sincerely regret reading that we were not able to conquer yours.     Great hotel for familys.

    "The room, the bathroom and the balcony are very nice and clean and the view from the balcony to the old trees and the ocean is gorgeous. The long beach is great and the sea warm and pretty clean. The staff is very atentif, helpful and friendly. The buffet is god. But I missed freh figs and almonds, the speciality of Mallorca. Instead there where funny tasting walnunts. Only once a week there was lamb in the evening. Most of the meet was pork. The hotel is much too noisy for me due to the animations and a huge load of kids. "

    "My partner and I stayed from 7th Sept to 14th Sept in the Playa de Muro Hotel in Mallorca. We had to move here from our original hotel, Ciudad Blanca Alcudia Apartamentos, as my partner is disabled and the bathroom in the room at Ciudad Blanca was not suitable. Firstly I must say how helpful and friendly the staff were at both hotels, they are a credit to your organisation. This was our first experience with a wheelchair on holiday, (as only recently become disabled), we feel that the Playa de Muro is trying but has some way to go to be convenient for guests with access issues. For example there is only "one" disabled toilet in the hotel. There is no disabled toilet on the pool or restaurant level. There are no ramps from the reception level to the pool/restaurant level. The lifts are too small for some wheelchairs. The grab rails in the shower (room 1342), were badly situated, there needed to be at least one grab rail near the shower head to enable the guest to pull themselves up under the shower. There was only a grab rail on the left side of the toilet, my partners left arm is paralysed so he needed a grab rail on the right hand side. None of the chairs in the dining room had arms, disabled users need to be able to push themselves up and lower themselves down. The room was extremely small which made using the wheelchair difficult and there was no chair for my partner to sit in although the manager did find one from a bar area which he leant us for the duration of the holiday. I hope these comments will enable you to better understand the needs from a disabled guests point of view."
