It was a very enjoyable week in a very nice place with nice food and good entertainement for every age.
"My grandson and myself just came back from a wonderful week in Iberostar Hacienda in Dominican Republic. The property is beautiful, the grounds are immaculate and very well maintained. My grandson enjoyed watching all of the birds in the artificial pond and the kids club. He attended the mini disco everyday and made me stay for the nightly show every evening. It was very enjoyable for both of us. The animation team is doing a very good job. The rooms as well as the bathrooms are spacious, but housekeeping was irregular, some days they came very early and some days they did not come at all. The food is quite good. Lots of variety in the buffet but more care should be taken to ensure food is cooked to the right temperature. Some fish and meat were underdone. The food at the Steak house and the French ElColonial was very good."Rating: 9,0

"We have stayed at the Iberostar in La Romana in the Dominican Republic repeatedly for the past 6 years and have always enjoyed our stay and all the amenities. This year however, there seemed to be new staff at the front desk and the information we received from each seemed to differ. For instance we spoke to one person, the day before our departure, about extending our check out for few hours since we had a later flight. He told us to come back in the evening to take care of this. We went back in the evening and were told that we should have taken care of this earlier and out room time could not be extended, even though we were willing to pay extra for the two hours that we needed. We were trying to function around our evening flight but the clerk was not very understanding. In addition, we have always vacationed with a group and as in the past, I called several weeks before to ask that we all have rooms in the same building where we always stay. The person I spoke to recorded the information and yet when we all arrived we were placed in a different location and there was not record of my phone call. There seems to be a lack of knowledge and coordination at the reception desk. It was very nice of the management to leave a gift of a bottle of rum in returning guests rooms, which our friends received, however, we have stayed there the longest and were overlooked. All other aspects of our stay were wonderful and we appreciate the upgrading of the internet so that it could be used in our rooms and on the grounds.....just not sure why we have to pay for daily service. Surely Iberostar resorts should be able to cover this cost. "Rating: 7,0
"séjour trés agréable, le personnel est disponible et aimable. Les chambres sont trés propres et confortables. Buffet de qualité tout comme les restaurants. Petit bémol le français est encore mal compris et mal parlé malgré une population francophone importante. Super vacances"Rating: 9,0

"The site is very clean and well clean employes are very pleasant smilling ...theres 2 things that was unplaisant the reception ( phone ) did not speak English or French so we couldn't understand anything i would assumed when you work wits tourist you need to speak at least English specially if your client services and the enternment in the evening was missing at the lobby there was only piano and not for a long time . but the site is beautiful clean and employes on the site are very friendly"Rating: 9,0
