    "GREATEST EXPERIENCE !!!!!"

    The services and staff personnel services were wonderful. We were 5 adults and 2 children. We had the greatest time ever. We highly recommend this hotel.

    "Come back home having had an incredible holiday."

    Cuba is a very unique destination, not for everyone, but certainly was for us. I would highly recommend a visit to adventurous people and for the R&R part of the holiday, Iberostar Varadero was outstanding.

    "Would come again."

    Hotel was a relaxing break after a week touring Cuba. Food & drink excellent; the only negative being served Coffee from a Nescafe Instant coffee machine at breakfast and the buffet, however, the coffee shop was great. The evening entertainment “shows” were way too loud and not that entertaining; but waiter staff at the shows were fantastic. Animators needed too much encouragement to arrange volleyball, football and water polo or hand over “the” balls for others to do so.

    "good holiday"

    Good hotel, good food although variety at breakfast could be better. Deserves its 4 star rating,even for Cuba. Main pool a bit shallow Excellent service. Nice spacious rooms, with separate shower cubicle Lovely grounds and beach

    "Average to good"

    The hotel was good overall. The staff very happy and friendly and the service very good. The consierges attached to our room were extremely helpful. We were disappointed in the food in the "Gourmet" and "Japanese" restaurants but found the food and staff at the Mediterranean restaurant, which we dined at as often as possible, excellent. The entertainment was good on the first 2 nights then became very similar and lower quality thereafter.

    However, we are very sorry for appearing to not completely satisfy your culinary wishes at the Japanese and the Gourmet restaurant. This is very disappointing with a passion for gastronomy being such an important facet of our company our talented team of professional chefs prepare a wide variety of both local and international cuisine using the highest quality ingredients available and also regularly rotating our menus to cater for all possible dietary requirements and please the most discerning palates, we really are sorry that on this occasion we were not able to conquer yours.

    "Experience the experience!"

    Great all round experience but what makes us come back each time is the people. The daytime entertainment team are a credit to the hotel, they go out of their way to make the experience of a lifetime. Bar staff and restaurant staff are the happiest I have ever seen and always engage with the clients. The hotel is well kept and the gardens are beautiful. The only negative is the evening entertainment which is very boring and repetitive, needs more client participation.

    "Overall, very positive experience at the Iberostar Varadero."

    We travelled with several age groups and all had a very positive experience. The rooms were clean and the grounds were very well kept. The entertainment staff should be the envy of any other resort in the area, as they were personable, knowledgeable, and energetic. We enjoyed the main buffet, and found the selection, presentation and quality to be excellent. Small suggestions for the buffet: having hand sanitizer available, and separate cooking utensils for raw/cooked meat. Excellent holiday!
