I loved to stay at Iberostar Hotels. Personal are very friendly, the recreation team are spectacular, the attention of the personal superb, I was very happy and I hope to come back very soon. Love the cleanliness of the bedroom and bathroom and the installations in general, beautiful.

"Nice place, too much pressure to attend "time share like" meeting. Concierge was not very helpful."
We were travelling with another couple. We both had done an early check in on the Iberostar website. When we arrived at the front desk, the staff had no information that we had requested an early check in, so one of the rooms was not ready. We then went to speak to the concierge and asked for some token gesture to compensate us for our trouble; we asked for one extra booking at one of the à la carte restaurants. The concierge, Jorge, said he would help us, but did not.

"Does this mean overall experience ? If so, it was very good."
This hotel is well maintained, clean and staff is friendly. It would be nice if there was a small band for dancing before entertainment starts (like one at iberostar in Dominican. We also had minimal shower pressure but was okay. We enjoyed the walk through the treed walkway.

"We have always loved the Iberostar! Will definitely return again!"
This resort does not cater to Canadians. Unable to get spiced rum or Clamato juice to make caesars, not bloody Mary’s, We have stayed at this property as well as the maya 10 times. We were told we should have been offered an upgrade which we did not even get asked. We were also supposed to get a bottle of wine or champagne which we never seen either. We were with another couple who were asked about the vacation club but once they told the conseige no we were treated different.

"The best experience ever for a holiday! Incredible food at the buffet(s)!"
The Chefs (Marcos U, Sandra, Margaritta) at the dinning room for the buffets were absolutely wonderful! They made our experience (my husband and I) the most memorable holiday experience we have ever had. Such heartfelt warmth, genuine interest to get to know us, and attention to our needs... we were most impressed and deeply touched. The servers were amazing too; always going the extra mile to make us comfortable and relaxed. Thumbs up to this whole team!!

"Disappointed by food, though beach is wonderful"
The most disappointing point was food that was not of the best but rather poor quality, e.g. the aubergines were not properly prepared, being sometimes raw, which is unacceptable, the dishes were mostly cold being not good warmed up during the buffet opening time, water with chlorine taste and smell, not really big choice especially of local food... Moreover, at the last day I had an upset stomach, which I suspect because of the food quality. In addition, the room shower switch was not working.

Allow us to inform you that our Executive Chef continuously works on improving our gastronomic offer and its quality. Therefore we are constantly inspected by an external company which monitors the procedures we follow in order to prepare the meals for our guests’.

"Disappointment from front desk, room and over all service."
I've stayed over 7-8 Iberostar hotels in the past and this was a major disappointment. First, I've booked at Paraiso beach hotel and they gave us room on the Maya side furthest away from the beach. I told them because of night show I will not able to sleep, but they didn't seem to care and tole me I had no choice. A/C did not work and bugs were all over the place. It took me more than 4 calls and waited for 2+ hours for someone to come to my room. Probably book somewhere else from now on.

"We had a wonderful stay at Iberstar paraiso del mar. We would go back."
We stayed in presidential Suite in building close to the beach. Tha air condition in master bedroom worked but it was a little too hot. For health reasons we think that the cat should not be allowed to be in dining room area. Not everyone loves cats and some people are actually allergic to cats. Overall we had a very pleasant experience and the staff was very nice.
