Particularly if you are a diving enthusiast, Mallorca is a destination that you really have to visit. What’s more, water sports lovers can take advantage of our diving school in the hotel. Do you prefer to enjoy sports on dry land? In that case, you can play beach volleyball, paddle tennis, tennis, mountain biking, spinning or 7-a-side football. You even have at your disposal a tennis school within the hotel and a golf course nearby.
Tennis or paddle tennis? Whichever you prefer, you can practise in the Iberostar Club Cala Barca. The hotel boasts one court with artificial grass and two hard courts to play tennis. It’s also possible to organise tournaments and there’s a school where you can take classes to improve your backhand. Classes are available in Spanish, English and German. If you’d rather play paddle tennis with your family or other parents, you can make use of our three paddle tennis courts and show off your paddle skills.
Enjoy a unique experience below the Mediterranean Sea and discover an incredible underwater world. Don’t worry if you're new to it because you can learn at the hotel’s own school, the Dressel Divers international club.
It offers diving classes in several languages from 1 May to 31 October for both beginners and experienced divers, and you can hire whatever equipment you need from the club. In addition, you have the chance to obtain official qualifications or have individual diving tuition.
If you'd like to know the cost of this activity per hour, just ask at reception or request more information at www.dresseldivers.com or email@example.com.
Enjoy a coastal hike with your family in Mallorca. Near to the Iberostar Club Cala Barca is the Mondragó Natural Park, a nature reserve for birds in which you can enjoy the nature via many different routes. It’s easy to get to the nearby freshwater lagoon of s’Amarador and the salt marsh at Ses Fonts de n’Alis. It’s a real natural wonder!
As well as the areas near the hotel, there are many other routes for hiking around Mallorca. If you have time, don’t miss a visit to the Serra de Tramuntana, declared a Natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Would you rather do another type of activity? At the Iberostar Club Cala Barca you’ll have a never-ending variety of sports to choose from with our Fit & Fun programme: archery and shooting, football, table tennis, aqua-gym, shuffleboard, darts, volleyball, aerobics, snooker, fitness centre, paddleboard yoga, fit jumping, mountain biking, spinning… You will also be able to take swimming classes between May and September, or go snorkelling, paddle boarding or head out in a kayak. Or, if you feel like practising your swing, just 15 km from the hotel, there’s also a golf course where you can do just that.
