We had a wonderful, relaxing trip

"Our 11 day stay in the Sea-view room was very pleasant. The food was very good and the waiters were pleasant. Unfortunatel room-service needs to be improved. We found our beds made-up on our daily return however even though we stayed 11 nights, our shampoo was replaced TWICE, ear-buds were replaced 3 times (even though I left the box (container) torn and empty."

Fantastic

"We liked it very much, the food was good, the rooms where clean (a little bit older but ok) the animation and swimming pool was very good, the area was good, much restaurants, shops and bars. We will coma back soon :-)"

Great, enjoyable, super !

"Once again we enjoyed our stay in the Torviscas Playa Hotel. The fact that it was already for the seventh time that we spent a week of our Easter holidays in the hotel (since 2005) evidences our satisfaction and appreciation for accommodation, infrastructure, service, restaurant, friendliness of personnel, quality of the multicultural and multilingual animation team,... Our 13 year old son still loves it, which proves the hotel is child friendly."

A nice stay that can be suggested to friends

"I spent a beautiful week in your hotel.I really appreciated the kindness of staff, the food and the service in general.In the room 383 the fridge was missing but it has been replaced in a couple of hours.It was empty and this is the only remark"

wrong hotel for elderly folk

"firstly made our booking with ibostar with a lovely lady called yamina--she requested a top floor room for us with a sea viewon arrival at the torviscas we were put in room 254.we were very disappointed as we only had a side seaview and no sun all day.as we are elderly we like to sit and read on the balcony.we tried to upgrade but were told it was not possible.we found reception staff to be at best abrupt--except on day four we met isabelle simon(i think) and she was a breath of fresh airshe allowed us to upgrade to an executive room 652 and it made such a diierence to us!we could sit out in the sun in peace and quiet and read our books and there was no noiseoverall i would never go back to the torviscas--we had no idea it was in such a hilly positionand really not suitable for arthritic elder peoplefinally you two lovely staff are to be commendedsean and patricia otoole"

a truly wonderfull experience mainly by the friendliness of the overall staff

"it was incredible how friendly, helpfull and correct the staff acted. We are used to hotels like the Atlantis in Dubai or the ST George Lycabettus in Athens and deliberatly chose this hotel in Tenerife for a family holiday. It was simply a great time to be had. The hotel was very clean and well maintained despite being a tat older. It was greatly by the effort of the staff both in maintenance, kitchen, waiters, reception,..... that we had such a good time. The only minor point was the lack of being able to dine on the terrace and the lack of cozyness in the bar. With a few minor changes the bar has every potential to grow into a nice meeting area whereas its cold and uninviting now. But as said a minor point in a great place to stay!"
