    Excellent holiday - but bedrooms need refurbishing

    "I had a great holiday in Iberostar Torvista Playas. All the hotel staff were charming and helpful; there was an amazing choice of wonderful food at every meal. The pool areas were kept spotless and there were plenty of sunbeds to choose from. The various bars were welcoming and the service was excellent. Bedrooms however were 'tired' although clean and adequate. "

    NOT AS expected

    "visited your hotel 2 years ago. The quality Of the hotel is impaired since then. The staf hardly cannot speak and understand english. The staf at the poolbar was not serviceminede. The food was monotonous. We stayed 2 weeks. The menu for week 1 was nearly the same for week 2."

We were however quite surprised to read your comments on the English language knowledge at the hotel as Tenerife is indeed a favorite destination for British travelers and the majority of our staff members, in order to be able to deliver a good service, can easily communicate in English.     We would visit the hotel again but would like to have a better room as we do like our home comforts!

    "The hotel was excellent in every way. For example check in was welcoming and efficient. The communal areas attractive and clean. The food amazing. The entertainment good. The staff overall excellent and you are lucky to have them. The bedroom was not the one we booked therefore basic but ok for our stay. We were compensated for not getting the superior room that we booked Lovely hotel."

    And they just went to the pool bar and just got drinks and food for all there party. We were very unhappy at the staff as how can people go to the bar and ask for six drinks on one wrist band.you need to look at what's going on before we come back.as we f

    "This was are first time back in four years.we booked a/l as to us it was value for money.but we were disgusted at the amount of people who were on B and B and half board who were making sandwiches and taking cakes and fruit so they did not have to for food at dinner time the staff watch what's going on and nothing. There was a group of 14 people that came to gather, only one couple paid for a/l an"
