"The hotel is being refurbished at the moment. This is being carefully undertaken so as to minimise disturbance to the guests. Our two week stay was excellent and the staff were very helpful. The refurbished breakfast room was excellent "Rating: 10,0

"After our last visit in December this stay was much better,the food has improved nearly as good as before the service was excellent.The only thing that is below standard is the evening entertainment which is very poor and when there was a show worth watching it lasted about 1hr "Rating: 8,0
all in all slightly disappointing but just acceptable for two weeks winter sun
"room 515 no sunshine resulting in cold room. noise from nearby bars could be heard and also lots of traffic noise throughout the night. hairdryer similar to vacuum pipe totally unsuitable for styling womans hair. waiter service in main bar very erratic sometimes very good other times extremely poor. plus points food choice and quality excellent. pool area and sunbeds freely available anytime of the day. hotel entertainment we chose to watch very good."Rating: 6,0
The best rooms are definitely on the side facing the pools as they get a lot of sun - essential when you live in Scotland!

The negative opinions above prevented a good experience & holiday becoming an excellent experience & holiday, none were major but that is what makes that difference.
"Top two floors (9&10), dining area & communal internal & external areas of the hotel very good. Free fridge in room spot on. Free pool towels & loads of decent sun loungers great. Food & all staff fine, location ok. Room safe ok but a bit pricey to hire. Evening entertainement either very good or very poor, using the hotels animation team to deliver some entertainment is a mistake. RoomS on floor 1 to 8 in desperate need of refurbishment to standard of top two floors. Some of the room & all off the pool towels provided were very poor, thin old & worn, not good. Not enough staff on duty in the dining hall at meal times, usually a long or never ending wait to get used plates & crockery removed between courses. Cleanliness very good with a permenant cleaner working in the dining hall throughout meal times floor cleaning & dealing with any spillages etc, good. Reasonable range of uk channels on room TV including Sky Sports 1&2."Rating: 8,0
"We have been located on the 9 floor. The room was renovated. Excellent. We do'n kwow how the condition is from the not renovated rooms. We read zoover and read there that the situation there less was. Inthat case we give you the advise; ranovated all."Rating: 9,0
