    Absolutely Wonderful!

"Food was great. Accommodations and Staff are wonderful. The animals were so amazing to see up close (monkeys, tzereques, raccoons, peacocks, iguanas, flamingos, parrots, turtles, etc) We love the jungle paths. Landscaping was gorgeous. This was our 2nd time to come to Iberostar Quetzal/Tucan and we will definitely be back!"

    50/50

"A beautiful resort with a great atmosphere... Except for the al la carte restaurants. The dress code just isn't enforced and its rather pathetic. Our last night I saw tons of people in flip flops, shorts and t-shirts. It's pretty misleading when you expect the atmosphere of a somewhat decent restaurant and end up with the sizzler."

"My boyfriend and I stayed at the Iberostar Tucan from the 13th to 27th September this year. It was my first time in Mexico and my boyfriends third time, so I had heard a lot about how fantastic Mexico was. I was certainly not disappointed! The hotel was fantastic. The pools are excellent and so big there is no way you can get under anyone's feet. Some of the areas are quite deep but I didn't mind that. The pools were always being checked and cleaned by staff. The hotel staff were very friendly and always willing to help in any way they can. The food was great. There was always a lot of choice so even the fussiest of people can be catered for. During our two week stay we ate at all of the a la carte restaurants. The Japanese was by far our favourite of the restaurants but all of them were lovely. We'd heard some bad reviews about the drinks but we thought the selection was excellent. The cocktails were nice and there was a good selection of premium branded alcohol for the nights you just wanted a rum and coke! The beach is gorgeous. One day we walked to the right passed all the hotels and there is a lovely Bay Area which is quite quiet if you want to get away from the bustle of the hotels beach area. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and always very clean. Fantastic stay and looking forward to planning a trip back next year. Thank you for making out holiday great!! "

    Beautiful Resort in the Jungle

"We stayed at the Iberostar Tucan on September 20-27th 2014. We were a party of 6 people. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this all-inclusive resort and would return for another visit! Our favorite things: The star friends made for good entertainment and activity every day. All the star friends were so friendly and made sure to make the trip enjoyable. The jungle in the middle of the resort is amazing with some incredible sights including monkeys, peacocks, and other animals. The resort is well maintained for being 20+ years old. We loved all the open areas including the lobby. Our least favorite things: the food was okay (no one should go hungry) but it was very monotonous. We wished for more of a variety. The Mexican and Carribean specialty restaurant were horrible. The food was cold and so much food was wasted by people not eating the meals. They have so much potential and hopefully will improve. The Italian and Japanese specialty restaurants are great! "
