    "We had a very good time. Only wish thre were more units over looking the beach. My son got a henna tattoo at the hut on your grounds. He had a sever reaction to the paint. After investigating true henna is not black. When it is black there is usually walnut oil in the paint. My son has server reaction to oils from nuts. There needs to be a disclosure on the hut. He may have permanent scaring."

    Would recommend this fab hotel for all!

    "Loved hotel , rooms v clean, staff v friendly, great food selection ,fabulous pool and beautiful beach. Entertainment varied and always something to do. Loved all artefacts. Big problem of reserving sunbeds!! Beds were saved with a bottle of water, a flip flop, a sun screen? Often beds not sat on until afternoon. If you got up after 8am most of shaded beds had gone. Guests should be made aware at check in its not allowed. And staff should remove items. "

    I am rating this based on the advertised "5+ Star" with which this hotel is classified.

    "The reasons we chose this resort: 1) it's high 5+ Star rating; 2) all inclusive; 3) for the adjoining rooms (we traveled as family); and 4) seemingly good reputation. I do not feel I got my money's worth - $250/day/person. Rooms: The appearance of the rooms was very nice, but there were issues you never encounter at a 5-star: A/C didn't work the first half of the week in our room (we kept the door open btwn rooms); the tub spa didn't work in one room and the fridge didn't cool in the other; several lights were not functioning and the internet was intermitent. Nothing huge, but taken on the whole, this suggests a property in decline. We made a couple of “service requests,” mainly because they’d inquire about how our stay is going. FOOD: The food in the reservations-only restaurants was pretty good and the alternative buffet fairly decent, but we all started getting the intestinal sickness middle to late in the week. That's a first for us - we've been to Mexico several times and never had this issue before. We are water drinkers and only occasional alcohol drinkers. Amenities: A huge unanticipated inconvenience was with the size and layout of the complex - which was not apparent on maps we looked at. So much of the hotel was away from the shoreline in the heat and stillness of the surrounding mongrove jungle. We had a very sticky 10-minute walk thru humid jungle heat (95+ degrees F.; we are accustomed to 100 degree summer temps) just to get to the pool or beach, or the alternative of waiting for up to 30 minutes for a golf cart in the heat...may as well walk. The catamarans were a nice activity option and we paid for a snorkling tour. When we called to set up spa services to use our $50 Spa Credit, they conditioned it on purchasing a $109 service! That rankled me just a bit since I was willing to spend a little, but I wasn't interested in paying $69 to use a "free" gift certificate! And beware the so-called Medic – he charged us $120 to take my son’s temperature and refer us to a hospital he was associated with. While the staff appears very friendly and helpful, it’s very superficial. We were good tippers everywhere we went and were not looking for “special” treatment, just more of a 5-star experience. We made the best of it, but this was the worst vacation / trip I’ve ever had! "

    "The beach, area, pool area, rooms, restaurants were all wonderful. The best all inclusive resort that I have visited. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were well kept and the grounds were well mainicured. A few areas for improvement. A larger Bar area at the beach with chairs would be nice. The bare was really just a service bar. The Lobby bar was nice but I am at a loss to understand why it was not more crowded during the evenings. The shows were not very good."
