"I loved all the staff, very courteous and friendly. The Japanese restaurant was so good and the chef was very entertaining. The two shows we saw were very good, Boogie nights and On the rock. I wish there was hand sanitizer available in the dining areas. I had to remember to bring mine with me. "Rating: 7,0

"Overall, it was pretty good. Beautiful beach and location. Nice facilities and rooms. The layout is a bit challenging with the T shape, meaning you are either close to the pools and front desk but far from the beach, or visa-versa. The food was pretty good but not as good as other 4.5-5 star places. One thing that should get fixed somehow is reserving shade seats on the beach. People get down there by 6AM and throw there towels over the good chairs to reserve them and all the shade spots are gone by 7AM. Often they don't get used until several hours later. Nice place. Friendly staff. "Rating: 8,0
"We had an excellent time at the resort. We felt extremely welcome and taken care of from the minute we arrived. The staff was extremely friendly and curtious. The accomodations were beautiful and extremely well maintained. There was something for everyone! We will definitely be returning to the Iberostar"Rating: 10,0
Mostly nice except a few things that ruined the pleasure.
"Before flying to Cancun, I tried calling Iberostar to arrange for transportation from the airport to the hotel. I ended up having to call several times over the course of three days. Each time I called, I was transferred to another department two or three times. Only on my final attempt was I able to get a positive answer that a shuttle can be arranged, but it was too late at that time because shuttle reservations had to be made three days in advance (no one told me that when I called three days prior!). So I just took a cab from the airport, which was more expensive than it could have been if transportation had been arranged through the hotel. Also, one romantic night we had an unexpected visitor. It was a hotel worker who unlocked the room door at around 11 p.m.! If I had not yelled "Who is there?!" he would have walked right into the room! He said, "Oh, busy!" and then left. What business did he have unlocking and entering my room that late at night?! I did not call for room service. Otherwise, the room was serviced well. The service at the bar and especially in the spa were enjoyable. Overall, I don't think it was worth the $285 I paid per night. "Rating: 6,0
