Fantastic Vacation!

" My wife and I along with our Son & Daughter-In-Law spent a week 4/20/13 - 4/27/13 at the Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar two rooms 1945 and 1901 and it was fabulous! the Hotel and grounds were very nice, the pool was unbelieveable and of course the beach was too. We found the food and drinks to be very good the selection was tremendous and had something for everyone. We tried the mexican restaurant one night and it was good and very well decorated. We mostly hit the buffets and had to cancel a reservation on our last night that we had for the Brazilian Steakhouse as the hotel put on a Dinner On The Beach event for Apple Vacation Guests that was incredible! We found everyone on the staff to be super friendly and attentive to every need all seemed to be very happy. I did tip everyoen who helped not that I was pressured but I enjoy letting them know i appreciate the service they provide but never felt as if I had too and i saw many others getting the same service that were not tipping. Exceptional Service from Eduardo/Lobby Bar, Lucio/Waiter in the Mercado Buffet for Breakfast, Lionel at the swim up Aqua Bar and whoever was our maid whom we never met but appreciated everything she did daily as our room was spotless and the mini-bar was never without items to chill. In closing we could not have been happier with our vacation it created many great memories and a desire to return to the Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar. "

"We were very impressed by the Paraiso Del Mar Resort during our 8 day stay. The resort was very well kept, the staff extremely friendly and accomodating, the grounds were beautiful and our room was nice. The nightly entertainment was good, the magic shw was our favorite as was the emcee, Edu. We were very impressed by the Japanese and Brazilian restaurant, but let down bt the Mediterranean (seafood) restaurant. The nightly buffet could use more day to day variety as well, it was either hit or miss for us, but it also may be cultural/ethnic foods weweren't familiar with either. We would definetly recommend this fine resort to our friends."

I would recommend this property to family and friends

"I've stayed at other Iberostar properties in the Domincan Republic. The Iberostar Del Mar in Cancun is on par with others. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Cancun propery ajoins Paraiso Beach and the Grand hotel. The accomodations are better than most AI resorts. guest rooms are up to date and well appointed. The food is plentiful, but just a little above average. Pools and beach experience is excellent. One area that needs improvement is the front end- it needs extra staffing. Had to wait in line everytime I needed help from the check in or concierge desk. Internet service charges are highway robbery, plain and simple. Bring a cell hot spot- there is good cell access in all areas especialy the pool and beach. The property is safe and well guarded with conspicuous security personnel in most indoor and outdoor areas."

As noted above, we had an excellent experience at Pariso del Mar!!

"Stayed at Paraiso del Mar in Playa del Carmen from Mar 17-23/13. First ever visit to Mexico. We were a family of 4 (3 adults, 1 child). We had a wonderful experience at that resort. Room was very clean and property very well maintained. Staff were very hard working, friendly, professional and efficient. Food was very good and varied, the only difficulty I experienced at all was trying to find vegetarian options on the main restaurant menus. Buffets were absolutely fine for vegetarians. There were many activities for all ages and the beach, where I spent most of my time was lovely and very clean! Even the beach vendors were very polite and not pushy! My husband found Dressel Dive shop on site was excellent and very safety conscious! I would not hesitate to recommend that location in Mexico or your resort to anyone and in fact have done so already! I left a comment card at your reception area upon check out and have already logged my comments on Trip Advisor."

We would stay at the hotel again

"We completely enjoyed our stay at Iberostar Paraiso del Mar. The food was excellent, the staff was extremely helpful, polite and professional. We were surprized at the size of the hotel complex, but welcomed the extra walking. We thought the complex had all the amenities needed."

We stayed 5 days and nights 07 March - 12 March, 2013 in ocean view junior suite on beach. This was an excellent experience and we highly recommend Iberostar Paraiso del Mar. The resort is quite large and so be prepared for a high amount of walking betwe
