    "The staff were excellent. Everyone from the desk staff, to Daniel the meal concierge, not a single issue there. Waite staff in some restaurants have to remember NOT TO DUMP the used dishes in the basket. The clang noises are offensive and unnecessary. Buffets were acceptable. In past Christmas and new years the spreads were better and thought there would be something special for Valentines day. The additional charge to dine on the beach seemed excessive at $109.00 per person. Brazil was the best food. Steak house was the next best. The People at Dresser dive were very pleasant and helpful and we did a snorkel trip with them. WIFI, the trip[ was over $3000.00. I paid $38.00 for 5 days of wifi. It only worked with one phone or computer and switching between was problematic. The free wifi at the shopping area was a pain to get too and did not work all that well. I will evaluate free wifi in the future selection of a hotel. People at newer hotels indicated wifi was free. Lomas person was very helpful too. IN room 3203 there was some rust or brown soap scum to the right of the sink. The holes from former shower curtain were never caulked. Consider moisture, warmth and darkness lead to bacteria growth. Toilet ran some of the time. Perhaps conservation of saving the earth or natural resources leave a form about wasteful toilets or dripping sinks and people might care enough to tell you about small issues and in turn save you a lot of water."

    "Nice rooms, good food and beautiful beach and pools. Very friendly staff. Sports bar needs to show current events. Wifi being included would also be nice."

    "My stay at Iberostar Paraiso Beach was very enjoyable. Food was nicely prepared and served. Room cleaning was excellent. My ranking is a strong 9 out of 10 - attention to detail in a few areas would make for a 10 ranking. The concierge line is far too long all of the time. Iberostar Paraiso Beach has one concierge desk with typically two staff members sitting at the desk. Two desks (each with a computer terminal) would provider shorter waiting time and faster service for guests. While I appreciate the need for the resort to keep dinner reservations available for incoming guests, for guests who have already used up their allotted dinner reservations (e.g. 3 for 7-day stay), it would be far better for the resort to maintain a daily waiting list instead of having guests wait for half an hour in the concierge line to try to get a same-day reservation. Furthermore, the communication from staff was not clear on the precise time to attempt the same-day reservation. On one visit to the concierge desk, I was informed to seek my same-day reservation before 4pm. Then I was told it has to be from 4pm to 5pm. And on another ocassion, someone else in my group was told between 1:30pm and 2:00pm. This loose information needs to be made firmer and clearer. In my country Canada, I am used to smoke-free environments. Smokers have designated areas which are far away from the smoke-free environments. I found way too much smoke for my liking. For example, having the beach smoking area near the food and drink area is not good. Similar comments for smoking areas in the bars and lobby. In one room, the in-room safe was faulty and had to be replaced. In another room, the in-room safe had to be reset by staff due to some issue. During my stay, I witnessed a staff member carrying a replacement safe. Get a safe with better electronics, or better yet without electronics. There are a lot of rocks underwater on your beach. I suspect it is not feasible for Iberostar to remove those rocks, but communication to guests would be helpful to avoid that first exposure to rocks jamming toes while struggling with the waves."
