IBEROSTAR Punta Cana

Our guests reviewsIBEROSTAR Punta Cana

    Only the best.

"I had a small weekend vacation to myself at the Punta Cana Iberostar resort. I had a great time. I'd recommend if you're traveling alone that you fly in during the weekend. I flew in on a Thursday and there is plenty to do but there arent as nearly as many people to interact with until Saturday comes around. The weekends is when tourists pour in so if you're just looking for seclusion then maybe a midweek arrival would be best, otherwise fly in on the weekend. The Buffets were amazing, they're always picture perfect and would impress just about anyone who'd walk in and see them. The food is great, always well cooked. The bars are spotless and the servers are incredibly hospitable and generous. Although all is included I recommened that you tip a dollar here and there because not only do they appreciate it but they'll make sure you're attended to. I speak fluent Spanish and English. If you just speak English then no worries there are plenty of English speakers on staff and man they are good. I wasn't expecting that at all. Other than that, the rooms are always clean. Mind you this resort has been around for a while now so not a whole lot is "up to date" sotospeak. But don't let that detter you, the clenliness is where it's at and the people are great. At the end of the day you'll be at the beach and in the dinning halls so enjoy. I'm definitely going back whether alone or with family. I had a great time. Word of advice to my fellow traveler. If you leave your phone charger at home and happen to have a USB cable, you may plug that USB cable to charge your phone behind the flat screen TVs. These USB outlets are obscure but are used to update TV Firmware. Regardless they have power and will charge your phone while the TV is on. Also take note that this resort has wall outlets that are compatible with both European and U.S. plugs. So don't worry about not being able to use electronics. Happy travels."
