    "Beautiful atmosphere and rooms. Most foods were average to good. HUGE variety to choose from at buffet. Enjoyed the steaks and lobster tails. The Italian specialty restaurant had escellent food. It was the only restaurant we sampled due to reservation issues. Unfortunately, we had two questionable experiences with seafood and cheese that had gone bad, one at a reception dinner and one at an a.m. buffet. Approximately half our group of 50 (destination wedding) became sick with intestinal issues. English language barrier was very apparent. It made me feel anxious to make any requests and less welcome because we could not communicate effectively. Most staff was professional and efficient, but I did not see a great deal of happy faces. Morale seemed low. Fridge was not restocked the last two days of our stay. Asked butler (our only request in our five days there) for extra water for our room but it was never delivered. Housekeeping was excellent! We especially enjoyed the services of Nuri, our housekeeper; Ery, a bartender/waiter, and Abdoul, a waitstaff. Also appreciated very much the attitude of a cook in the a.m. buffet, whose name I don't know, who was very friendly and made us feel at home (she made eggs/omelets at back station inside)"

    Resort would be great if you can fix the problems: restaurant reservations, room service and pool.

    "Heard that dinner reservations were a problem before arriving, so I emailed hotel. No response to my email. Then called hotel and was given a second email address to make reservations. No response from second email. Upon arrival was told that for our 6 night stay there were no reservations available. Only after my husband gave the concierge $50 did openings in restaurants become available. The door lock on my daughters room was broken. We asked for it to be repaired for 3 days before it was fixed. Totally unacceptable. Room service was horrible. Ordered 2 breakfast one day with 2 juice & 2 coffee. Only 1 breakfast arrived. Was told it would be 40 minutes, but took 1 1/2 hours. My daughter and son in law had the same problem. They ordered 2 omelets, only 1 arrived an hour and a half later. Buffet items are not served at the proper temperature. Both hot and cold food were all served at room temp. This is a health code violation and we became sick on the 5th day. Lastly, pool needs to be retiled. Hundreds of tiles are missing and give the pool an warn and dirty appearance."

    "The staff were always friendly, helpful and warm. From the ground crews and gardeners to the staff in the restaurants, all were very welcoming with a "Hola, buenos dias" and "?Todo bien?" It is obvious that there is a great deal of pride in the work that is done and in the resort itself, demonstrated by the continuous efforts of everyone in daily maintenance and the comfort of the client. It was a lovely experience."

    Very nice overall experience, with the exception of Italian restaurant. See opinion above.

    "Very nice overall experience, with the exception of Italian restaurant. Staff slow and did not speak English well. Also, Iberostar Management advertised a Malbec region wine outside the front door, but wanted to charge extra (at an all inclusive) once inside."
