"This was our third visit to this hotel and was equally as good as the last twice. However there were a couple of reasons to disapoint us. The hotel food was no where near as good as last year and we dined out a couple of times even though we were half board, and also there did not seem to be enough beds around the pool even though the prestige section was opened and many people were in this section. Fantastic!

"I have sent about the same message direct to the hotel e-mail as well, attn. to José Ortiz, director. We were here the 2nd time since Aug. 2011. Now we booked Prestige Junior Suite, arriving Sa 10 Aug on half board, for 11 days. We had to leave earlier (after 2 days/3 nights in stead of 10), because of an emergency in the family: dying father (in law) We have to say: Prestige was great. But whole ‘regular’ pool area was improved and a very, very good thing was seeing two (pool) guards! In 2011 there was no guarding at all. Now reservation by towels before 10h30 was not allowed and it seemed that this was monitored as far as we could notice. Around 10h30 there were no more sunbeds in the Prestige area, so we went downstairs to the ‘regular’ pool and those 2 days (Sun. even at 11h45) we found beds at very good locations! Still people had put towels on bed and did not even show up before 15h00… To future guests: it is really not necessary to do that! Even if nobody would do so: even more sunbeds at any time! Also the poolguard was helping guests with beds and ‘parasol’ Fantastic! On Monday we were first at the big pool and from ± 14h00 at the Prestige pool. But then we heard from Holland about my husbands father, so we had to arrange our departure for the next morning with a lot of help of Karlien (Prestige Club). We thank director/management for all small ‘pleasures’ in the room, like wine, Cava and snacks. Junior suite was like in 2011 but renovated, fresh painted, we think Buffet (breakfast and dinner) was good like before and we were glad to see Neide again. She and Fernando are (in our opinion) the most cheerful! We always sat on the terrace. We hope we can return soon."

Excellent but the entertainment needs to be reviewed.

"This is one of the nicest iberostar holidays we have had. The hotel was good quality and clean...with fantasic views of the sea. Lovely location, if you wanted a nice relaxing holiday stay in the hotel, if you wanted something a little lively a short walk and you can be in the middle of the bay with lots going on. Food was excellent, staff wonderful. Only down side was the poor entertainment..... It's really needs looking into. Looking forward to our next visit. "

"Hotel clean, rooms large, clean and comfy. Staff mostly very friendly, especially Miguel at the bar and reception staff. Got into room early which was great. Food lovely (we had no food plan so paid for everything) Pools clean, entertainment (water aerobic, cocktail making class etc) excellent, staff very nice and fun. Only negatives: This is a BEACH hotel, still didnt have enough ebach towels - got told twice that there wasnt any when we wated to rent. In a beach hotel!! One evening (Sunday) we went up to the restaurant to dine. Staff was incredibly hassled and rude and refused to explain how it works, kept on interrupting us, didnt understand the question etc. We decided to leave and eat in town. Probably because they were very busy, but we didnt feel welcome at all. Other than this, the stay was very pleasant. "

"We were staying in the hotel during 30.07.13 - 06.08.13. Our expactations were much more vivid than we could imagine. We were met with shampaign and smiles at reception desk and we went to our room in 7 minutes after all applications were filled. We stayed in so-called "old" building (not STAR PRESTIGE zone), but never regret it even for a moment. Our room # 1523 was VERANDE (TERRACE) SUITE room - on the 5th floor (which is the best for my concern). There were only 2 of us in a big appartment where 6+ people could be easily accomodated. The hotel is very nice: pleasant staff, clean rooms and territory, delicious and different food which was always fresh and tasty, the guests - very polite and friendly, mainly from Germany, England, USA, Spain & Dutch, the others were of minority - like Russians or Ukrainians (like we were :) ). We had a broken window in the bedroom from where anyone can easily come into the room - we asked the reception manager and next morning the technician came and fixed everything in 10 minutes. We left our tips to the cleaning ladies - once in 2 days and the room was always bright and the towels were changed and/or foldered properly. The same was with all our beds and sofas. :) In the dining room - we enjoyed the waiters a lot - they all were very fast and friendly. But most of all we want to say thank you to our amigos - Ricardo on the terrace and "small" Antonio in the entrance tables. Appreciated a lot their professionalizm and attitude. Entertainment was organized very convinient - morning we took aqua-aerobics classes with charming Spanish lady who made it very funny and interesting at the same time. My muscles were aching after but it was for good. The barman made us masterclasses of coctails - I made MARGARITA by myself - that was challenging & exciting. In the evening there were small concerts by solo-singers who made the evenings near pools and bar not boring and add the charm into the whole atmosphere of staying in the hotel. What else - the location of the hotel is very convinient - no fuss, no noise, no discos around to make your nights sleepless. The general atmosphere was very romantic. The couples in the hotel were holding hands and kissing in the pool - that was so nice! It takes you 20 minutes walk to the municipal sand beach and same time to bus stop on Santa Ponsa square from where you can get to Palma or other close area towns. Many restaurants on the way with different food and drinks and prices. Breakfast - app. 4 Eur. Lunch SPECIAL MENU - varies app. 6.90 Eur - 10 Eur. The dinner depends on the preferencies - each seperate plate is around 8 - 12 Eur. tapas from 6 to 12 Eur. We prefer to eat in Royal Garden (Barbocoa-Grill)!!! Special thanks to the owner - Miguel - who made it so professional and customer-oriented. Many souvenir shops where you can negotiate the price if you make good purchases. :) If you prefer calm & romantic vacation Iberostar Jardin De Sol is the best place to go in Mallorca. Our honeymoon was the best time spent together ever and we are grateful for all the staff of the hotel who made us feel that way! P.S. Some notes to the hotel management: 1/ in the waterpools there were many hairs (mainly in the cells around the pool). Maybe it makes sense to equip them with some special devices to get rid of them easily or just to make more thourough checking after each day of using the pool when the hours of its attendance are over. 2/ the parking places near the hotel are almost always occupied by cars. so the place to park the car is not enough for such a big building hotel. probably it makes sence to think over the possibility to improve it somehow by expanding its territory or renting some nearby parking places "
