It was ok
"We were 2 weeks in Iberostar Royal Playa the Palma in August. We like this hotel and the last 6-7 years we spent our holiday there. But this year we were not satisfied with the hotel facilitys. The most annoying things was that the aircondition was swiched off generaly from 1 a.m till 1 p.m in the hotest summer. After i talked to the director and they change from 4 a.m till 1 p.m. But every morning at 4.30 we woke up because of the hot. We could agree to save the energy because of the environment but we want to be informed before!!! I mean in the Neckerman prospectus and i can decide if i want to come on the hotel were is no airconditioner in the night and not just get the info, when we are there and we already paid the 2 weeks part in May rest in July. Because its not a right way!!!The other part of the hotel was ok, nothing special, nothing new. The staff was kind and nice in the reception, in bar and restaurant. Room was clean. But we felt that no investment, nothing new like they wants to close the hotel."

"We were booked into christina and transfeerd to the royal playa de palma were giving a room on 1st floor looking on to a roof when we complaind we were offerd a room on 6st floor at a cost of 90 euro extra for 9 days which is very unsatisfatory when we were unable to stay at the hotel we had booked as our first choice.We had arranged to meet our friends as they had booked christina as well RegardsMona Murphy"
