    Overpriced, old hotel in Playa de Palma

    "average quality of the food, old fashionable rooms, unfriendly staff at the reception. I was denied a late checkout explaining that hotel is fully booked. I have checked the possibility of booking on my phone and there was free rooms which I could easily book. I have told the receptionist that you are not fully booked because I can reserve 10 rooms right now, "you book even 100 rooms" he replies"

We lament your disappointment for not being able to provide you with a late check out on your departure day, however we would like to take the opportunity to explain that as reported both on our website and brochure, we cannot guarantee late check outs until the departure day and that depending on last minute bookings, sometimes we need all the rooms we have. Nevertheless, guests with late flights can use our installations and our courtesy room in order to freshen up before departing for the airport. Moreover, the passion for gastronomy being one of the prime pillars of our company, we deeply lament your dissatisfaction with our restaurant where our professional Chefs strive to surprise our guests with a high standard gastronomy and the possibility to savor the best of the local cuisine as well as the finest international delights. We have discussed your comment with the concerned departmental managers to ensure that they are used to improve experience for our guests. Last but not least, we were disheartened to read that you did not feel well looked after by our reception team and although your comments do not seem to reflect the usual feedback that we receive on opinion portals and internal surveys we will make sure to forward your review to our head of reception for information.     "room was excellant .staff very friendly and helpful.entertainment crew excellent.would have liked shows to have finished later;saw at 11oclock instead of 10.food fantastic plenty of variety and choice at every meal.we would return to this hotel.or maybe another iborostar hotel in the future."

    Excellent

    "The room was excellent with seaview. The restaurant was also excellent with top meal and very friendly personal. The reception desk was also very friendly and the cleaning personal was friendly too. And the personal in the miniclub was excellent to our kids. We had two excellent werks in inerostar alcudia park."

    Would stay again but please find staff for the spa and make children behave themselves in the indoor pool

    "We really liked the hotel & the staff were lovely only downsides for us we could not book a single experience in the spa as there were no staff on duty and no excursion that we could join in with as nothing was provided for English otherwise we had a good time & would gladly recommend you & stay again"

    Excellent and relaxing two weeks enhanced by the friendly staff.

    "Comfortable hotel with excellent facilities. Lovely location right on the beach,with attractive pool and garden area. Very good choice of food in pleasant dining room. Apartment well equipped and furnished. Very helpful staff, everyone had a smile! Entertainment really good with a very enthusiastic team, daytime fun and high quality evening shows. "

    Nice holiday shame about the food

    "We loved the hotel the staff were always more than helpful. the cleanliness thoughout the hotel was superb. However we felt the food let it down for us always plenty there but bread at breakfast not fresh although it was fine at dinner the main cooked course was disappointing most days. Also lunch was much the same as dinner and themed nights was a very loose term . The position of hotel was super right on beach "

    As commented above.

    "The hotel was lovely, very clean and tidy and the staff were mostly very polite. Unfortunately when we arrived we had to wait for nearly two hours for our room to be ready which wasn't great as we were travelling with two children under 3 and a half. The hotel also has no ground floor rooms which we had requested, this made us very nervous if the children were playing on the balcony and in general we didnt open the doors so we couldn't let any cool air through the room. The high chair's in the restaurant had no safety straps which made it impossible to have a meal without our youngest child trying to stand up in the high chair, most of the time we had to sit with her on our knee. In general the hotel was very good but some things need to be updated and high chairs with safety straps is a must!"

Firstly we sincerely regret reading your disappointment at the time of check in, however we would like to point out that, as reported on the booking confirmation, check in starts at 14.00, and even though we always do our utmost to guarantee the rooms to be ready for our early arrivals, during the peak season when the hotel is fully booked, we may not be able to as our housekeeping staff needs the appropriate time to undertake a thorough cleaning of the rooms before assigning them to new guests. Moreover, we have taken good note of your remark related to the high chairs and commit to improve on this aspect of our services. On the other hand, we greatly appreciate your kind words towards our staff, their kindness and helpfulness being one of our hotel's main strengths we will definitely congratulate them all on your behalf for their contribution to your wellbeing whilst staying among us.
