    the hotel has a nice view , quiet surroundings, no sand beach and needs maintenance.

    "the hotel needs a little maintenance, the wet floors are very dangerous. The beds are good, but the sofa is too soft. The food is good and the service is o.k. The surroundings of the hotel are very quiet, no restaurants, but confortable to walk to the Papagayo beach."

    Close to perfection for a 4-star hotel

    "This hotel definitely deserves 5 stars. Very clean, effective room service, nice pool and landscape. Outstanding buffets, perfectly maintained and constantly refilled, every day 4-5 meat and 4-5 fish delicious dishes (plus show cooking)! The weather was not very good but this hotel made our days."

    Please read Trip Advisor - well balanced - I omitted how good all the bar and dining room staff were during the holiday.

    "I have expressed my views on the Trip Advisor website. My wife and I have stayed at numerous **** hotels throughout Europe -Iberostar always superb She has never ever wished to go home before the holiday finished - after four days she expressed a wish to home. The food experience really let the hotel down. Is that why you are getting rid ? Your own brochure in the room - only 2 awards-most had 5."

    I would have liked some chairs with the sun loungers. Children could have been controlled better. The animation team worked really hard but need to learn the difference between entertaining children and entertaining adults.

    "The hotel staff were very welcoming but when I arrived they could have had extra staff on reception when it must have been obvious there were quite a few guests arriving together. Hotel was clean and pleasant - however it would have been better to know when my room was likely to be cleaned - this was anytime between 12 and 3.30pm. Restaurant - food needed to be hotter. Gala dinner disaster. "
