    Great friendly staff. Rooms are good & spacious but need updating. (Starting to look 'tired'.) No DVD player linked to the TV - only audio CD player.

    "Salads & cold foods were excellent, but hot food at breakfast was always luke warm (unless freshly cooked. Evening hot dinners were only hot after we complained. Why can't plate warmers be installed / used? Sands Beach Hotel in Costa Teguise has them & uses them very effectively. That's a 'lower grade' hotel. Celiacs are not well catered for. Room maintenance items were handled very quickly."

    "Accom was superb, Food was excellent, and the staff lovely, very helpful, the place was clean. very quite, if you want it a bit lively plenty of taxis, very cheap to playa blanca or the marina, you could walk it along the front if you wanted. Nice relaxing holiday. Quality drinks to. A few more steps than I wanted, but I soon got use to them and was fitter for it. "

    We wont return, because of Lanzarote not the hotel.

    "The 2 bedroom bungalow was perfect with its own quiet veranda. The meals were plentiful and excellent quality. Breakfasts were a bit the same every day but its a small point. The staff in general were helpful, polite and courteous. 2 small points, 1) We were not told ice creams at the bar were not included in 'all inclusive' which landed us with a small bill but it could have been worse if we had had small children 2) The service at the pool bar was slow due to there being a permanent bar person. Often a queue of thirsty people with no barman. These 2 points and the location not being perfect downgrade from a 10 to a 9."

    Not happy with location of accommodation which I was allocated but would not have chosen

    "Having booked to stay in Lanzarote Park, I was told upon arrival that I had been transferred to La Bocayna village. Although the receptionist stated that it was superior accommodation, I was not pleased as my purpose for choosing Lanzarote Park was to be close to friends who were staying nearby. La Bocayna is a long distance from where I wanted to be and there are hardly any local bars or restaurants should I have wished to use them. Although the hotel agreed to provide breakfast and taxi transfers it was not the experience I had hoped for and booked. I would hesitate before using Iberostar in the future if I cannot guarantee staying where I book."

    "Nice clean bungalow. However would not rate it as 4*. The food was reasonable 4 out of the 6 nights we ate the evening meal. The other 2 occasions were very poor. They were not good at providing gluten free meals and my coeliac daughter had an upset tummy. They have a bizarre policy of charging you for drinks you take up to the room (we were all-inclusive) but have no trouble serving you drink at the bar all night. This seemed crazy as we only took one drink each to our rooms. The pool bar was manned by one person who had a Walkie-talkie and could be summoned back to the bar by pressing a button. This did not guarrantee prompt service and we had to wait on numerous occasions. The standard of the cocktails was appalling. The hotel seemed more geared towards German guests as the TV channels were mostly German and only one channel, World News, was in English. We will not be returning."

    "It is a nice hotel in a more quiet environment. You can relax there. The service in the restaurant & pool bar is pleasant, personal and friendly. this was our second stay there. There is a lifeguard every day but during our stay there was only 1 lifeguard who did more than just sit there. The girl lifeguard also kept the pool area tidy & clean while the boy lifeguards just sat on their chair in the shade. So a big thank you to the girl lifeguard"
