"Overall our stay in the hotel was great, rooms very clean and well looked after, great service in all departments. Food was fantastic, day time entertainment was great, staff always there to help and nice. The only thing that wasn't actions fast enough was an awful dead cockroach left in the corridor area for more that half day although reception was told several times to clean it up."Rating: 9,0
We really enjoyed our stay, because the rooms, the food, the pool, the gardens and the activities were all great. It is just a shame that so many little things have not been improved, as it had potential to be a fantastic place.
"The food was generally great, but there were no chips for all of our second week which was a big problem- kids like chips! It would have been nice to have one outside area that was NON-SMOKING. As guests could smoke wherever they liked outside, non-smokers like us were forced to always eat inside. The tennis court needs some attention, as it is close to collapsing. It would be good to have the hedge cut lower between the pool and beach so that both the view and breeze is improved around the pool and gardens. We were very aggravated by the fact that they played the same music over and over in the hotel-sometimes one track would play for over 2 hours. The water-sports were very disappointing-they need to have some surf boards, more paddles (very few available- 8 boats and only 4 paddles!), there should be at least 2 pedaloes (there was only one). The man in charge of the water- sports was just too laid back-he wrote nothing down so it was very disorganised, but he needs to book out the windsurfing not try to remember because he was getting in a muddle and letting people down. The foyer, bar and main restaurant were often inadequately air-conditioned which made them too hot to sit in comfortably. They should either have the air con higher and doors that stay closed, or have some floor or ceiling fans to circulate the air.It was disappointing that the tea/coffee/juice machines were not available for lunch or dinner (only breakfast). They need some self service drink machines in bar area to take the strain off the bar-there is only one bar and often only one barman, so long queues result for drinks. "Rating: 7,0
In general I recomended hotle for holidays.
"Very good hotel close to the beach. Food was really fantastic but service in restaurant during lunch time and dinner on area close main door was so poor but only by one of the oldest waitress. I think you should to think about prices - they are a little bit to high. "Rating: 9,0
"My daughter and I stayed in the Iberostar Avveroes in Tunisia in July 2013 for a week. We had an amazing time, the staff of the hotel could not do enough for us. We always had a table waiting for us in the restaurant and the staff were always happy and helpful. The staff in the bar were lovely to us, always asking if we were ok and bringing our drinks to us, especially Hassan and Abdul. We loved all of the animation team but especially Memo and Moez, they always had loads of energy working so hard and always had time to chat. We admired them all working so hard as it was Ramadam and particularly hot. The hotel is lovely but the staff make all the difference. Thanks for a great stay."Rating: 10,0
