Our guests reviewsIBEROSTAR Creta Panorama & Mare

No due to the health concerns.

"We would recommend the hotel on the basis of the facilities and staff. Our holiday however was ruined due to contacting what appeared to be some form of food poisoning. Three out of four of our group were severely affected, it was also clear that several of the other guests in the hotel were suffering the same symptoms. We were told by hotel staff that this was due to a virus in Crete, however there was inadequate hygiene protection in place to prevent the rapid spread which we feel is unacceptable. For example, there were soap dispensers in the toilet that had no soap, and there was also a frequent smell of raw sewage around many areas of the hotel. Also when we advised the staff of our health problems there was very little sympathy or concern shown. This is a real shame because the hotel was very impressive in many other regards. However the health and safety of your guests is fundamental."

"Very Disappoint with reception desk....after asking to keep a room on until we leave was told on our first day when we asked not a problem..day before we were leaving was told it would cost euros (which was not a problem ) But then on the day we were leaving a BIG NO Chance by a very rude receptionist...which spoiled what was a very good Holiday......Later in the day found out two other families were told the same but they complained and were given rooms"

"Hotel and staff all excellent great entertainment / animation team who never stopped working to entertain everyone. Lobby bar staff could not have been any more friendly. Buffet food really good always well presented and cooked. Only improvement which could easily be done would be to provide tea and coffee making facilities in the room i.e. cups , kettle tea bags etc. Some of the rooms are a long way from the main hotel which makes carrying hot drinks back to the room unpractical. Apart from that great holiday, great venue would definitely go be to the Creta Panorama"

"we booked this holiday as a 50th birthday celebration and were not disappointed. we had a fantastic holiday, the staff were all friendly and helpful. we can't comment on the entertainment as we didn't go, prefering to have a quiet drink in the bar. my wife had a lovely surprise on her birthday, with a bottle of bubbly and a birthday cake sent up to our room. would definitely recommend this hotel."

"This hotel is set in lovely grounds and is well built. I was disappointed with the staff at the front desk, they were all rather unfriendly and blunt with information. It felt like they did not want to be working there or help you out. You have many brilliant staff in the restaurant, maybe give some of them the jobs? The only problem I had with the room is that the bed was far too hard, I have rib problems so it took me a long time to try and find a comfortable position to sleep in. Less firmer mattresses would be a plus. The variety of food was brilliant, apart from some signs wouldn't be up and as I'm allergic to cheese I really had to study the food, as a lot of it had cheese in. Also I think that with the desserts they should have signs as some had nuts in and someone might be allergic. I was also disappointed that there were signs saying you were not allowed to put towels on sun beds if you will not be there for a long time, this was never implemented and thus large families would take the majority of the beds. And many people would struggle to find somewhere to sit. My only other negative was the music in the lobby bar would go on for hours and even with the air con on the highest this still didn't drown out the sound, so there were some sleepless nights. Maybe have a curfew or turn the music down after midnight? Overall I really enjoyed my stay, the sea view was beautiful, weather was fantastic, the grounds were beautiful. There was plenty to do as well."
