Hotels in Jamaica

  Excursions

We couldn't blame you if you never ventured beyond Jamaica's beautiful beaches. But there are plenty of fun activities for those who would like to shake the sand from their toes. Here are three excursions that will make for lasting Jamaican memories. Rafting Whether you prefer the whitewater challenge of Grade II - IV rapids on the Great River, or the serenity of gliding through a gentle rainforest river, Caliche Rainforest Park & Adventure Tours will provide expert guides and excellent equipment for your trip. Excursions leave from Montego Bay at 9:00 in the morning and 1:00 in the afternoon and take five hours total, two of which are spent on the water. Catamaran Cruise Depart Montego Bay at 10:00 in the morning or 1:00 in the afternoon and cruise out to sea where you'll stop and snorkel in the beautiful blue waters. Back onboard, bartenders serve refreshing Red Stripe and rum drinks as you sail over to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville for more water fun. The return sail features foot massages for the ladies and dance lessons for everyone. Hilton High Day Tour In the comfort of an air-conditioned coach, you'll journey 45 minutes from Montego Bay, passing by sugarcane, pineapple, coffee and banana plantations in the hill country. Upon arrival at Hilton House, you'll enjoy a Jamaican breakfast buffet before heading to a quaint German village where you'll tour an old sacred heart mission and be serenaded by local school children. Back at the plantation, you'll feast on roast pig, exotic Jamaican vegetables, and rum punch while a Calypso band entertains you. The return ride will take you along the edge of Cockpit Country, offering stunning views of deep valley floors surrounded by steep mountain cliffs, returning you to your hotel in time for afternoon tea.
