COUNTRY WALKS
Mediterranean countryside surrounds this hotel in Croatia. There are many different paths tourists can take to discover this land bathed by the sun and sea.

ON FOOT
It is great to walk the four kilometres along the Rat peninsular from the hotel to the typically Croatian town of Cavtat. There are various attractions in the town, such as strolling along the Rat peninsula, where you can find little bays and beaches, as well as cultural places to visit such as Racic mausoleum built by the famous Croatian sculptor Ivan Mestrovic. Beaches run along the promenade where bathers go for a dip among the boats and fish. At the end stands the church of St. Blasy, a 15th century Franciscan monastery.

BY BICYCLE
You can visit Vojski, a watchtower looking out to sea. This great route is 20 kilometres along rocky paths lined by Mediterranean vegetation. Another option is to go to Prevlaka nature reserve along a trouble-free 60 kilometre route. It is worth it for the wonderful view of Koto bay and the Montenegrin Riviera, as well as to see the little villages in the area.
BY CAR
You can go to Mostar (about 300 kilometres away), the city that was changed out of recognition during the Bosnian conflict, and has bounced back prouder than ever with its mix of identities and cultural attractions, such as the bazaar and the rebuilt Old Bridge. You can also go by car to Kotor Bay, the largest fjord in the Mediterranean, which shelters two islets.
BY BOAT
You can go on boat trips to countless places. One good option is to go to Dubrovnik, a city many centuries old, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. On the shore, just 700 metres away, is the little island of Lokrum, which the city's inhabitants use as a place to relax and enjoy themselves. Another ideal day trip by boat is to the Elaphite islands, with their pine and cypress woods reaching to the sea and peaceful beaches. The many options for a boat trip include the island of Mljet, which is a nature reserve and stands out for its wonderful countryside, from inland lakes to uninhabited little islets where you can go scuba diving.
