We recommend fino wine and moscatel de yema that you can find in the numerous wineries in the centre of Chiclana and also in the surrounding villages.
The fresh seafood and fish are top quality and can be bought in the market, which is open every day between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
As far as sweets and desserts are concerned, there is a large variety of patisseries in the centre of Chiclana.
Typical food from Chiclana includes Chicarrón (small pieces of fried pork mixed with a lot of spices) and also almond tart (made by nuns using a base of flour, almonds and other secret ingredients...). But the most important dishes have to be Gazpacho and Salmorejo (cold vegetable soup,  water and bread).

The small town of Chiclana (3 km from the hotel) has some very old wineries (such as El Santuario) where you can taste fino wine and tapas. In the mornings (Monday to Saturday), you can visit a typical market that sells vegetables, fresh fish, ham and meat.
