Sports of hotel Iberostar Andalucía Playa

The range of relaxation and health activities on offer at the Iberostar Andalucía Playa are complemented by a wide selection of sports that our guests can enjoy.

The summer months are the ideal time for sports in Cadiz, when all manner of activities can be enjoyed in the open air.

Can you imagine galloping along the 8 km La Barrosa beach on the white Costa de Luz sands, riding a fine stallion? For our guests at the Iberostar Andalucía Playa that dream is within easy reach.

Just a kilometre from the hotel you can find an extensively equipped riding school where you can learn to ride.

At the hotel you can try our fitness centre and practice sports, such as aerobics, beach volleyball or water polo.

There are also a number of other sports you can try your hand at in the vicinity of the Andalucía Playa:

Just 400 metres from the hotel you will find the Iberostar Sports Centre, which features a tennis school offering classes as well as 4 hard courts, 7 clay courts and 4 paddle tennis courts.

 

Just 250 metres from the hotel is the Novo Sancti Petri Golf Club, the first in Spain to be designed by the famous champion golfer, Severiano Ballesteros.

The club has a total of 54 holes, divided into three 18-hole courses, each with a 36 handicap for both ladies and gentlemen.

Furthermore, golf lovers can seek to improve their swing at the Montecastillo Golf Resort, situated 50 kilometres from our hotel, the Montenmedio Golf (35 km away) or the Benalup Golf Course, also located 50 km from the Andalucía Playa.

 

From your base at the Iberostar Andalucía Playa you will be able to plan beautiful cycling routes through the Cadiz countryside, or exploring the traditional white Andalusian villages.

Within the hotel you will be able to rent the very latest race and mountain bikes during the summer months.

For customers who have a bicycle, it is mandatory to keep in the garage for a charge (directly at the hotel).
